Shawn's career began over 30 years ago, honing his craft under industry leading Teachers; running his first innovative Salon at the Richmond Hill Country Club in the early 2000's.  He quickly followed this up with his second, Universe Hair Studio, in 2006.

With his decision to relocate to Niagara on the Lake in 2014, he was fortunate to be hired at a local Salon, gaining cherished friendships, before deciding to launch his latest local venture, Hypnotyc Hair Lounge.

Nicholas started his path in the Hair Industry at an early age.  He stays current with the trends, educates himself continually to provide updated technique to his creations,

 a true perfectionist, and prides himself in creating your hair goal.  

Nicholas enjoys every part of his craft from colouring your hair, cutting the perfect cut, or simply styling. He will exceed your expectations and make you feel beautiful.

Cathy, with her knowledge of styling tradition and exceptional techniques, has gained a reputation for her remarkable styling/cutting and expertise colouring.  Inspiration for her versatile styling comes from the art, fashion, and music industries, all lending itself to Cathy's attention to detail and experienced eye.

Cathy started her career in the downtown core of Toronto over 30 years ago and has trained with leading companies in the industry. She has honed her talents creating a diverse range of looks that accentuate personal beauty of all of her clients.

Janice joins the Hypnotyc Team with 20 years of experience in the Hair Industry, which includes styling within the Niagara Region.

She has been highly educated through Toni & Guy, AVEDA, Martin Parsons Updo's, and Paul Mitchell.

Janice is very talented and creative with her craft.  She has a passion of making people look good and feel their best.

Kendra has been in the Hair Industry for 20 years.  Since 2019, Kendra has been a great asset to our Team.

Kendra believes in the beauty of aromatherapy, and holistic nutrition. She has a heart of gold and in her "spare time" she is involved in serving with Down Syndrome Niagara.

Kendra has been extensively trained with AVEDA precision, and the luxe beauty of our Goldwell colours.

Avery is the newest member of the Hypnotyc team with 4 years of beauty industry experience. She got her education at Cappa School of Hairstyling and Aesthetics, and is beginning her journey into the world of hair. 

However the beauty industry isn't new to her as she is also a registered lash technician, running a business outside of her home as well as now offering lash extensions in salon!

Avery loves making people feel beautiful and seeing people regain their confidence with her work.
